Project Overview

The ImpactHub Collective Education Fund Initiative aims to provide quality education to children in conflict-affected and resource-scarce regions in Plateau and Borno states of Nigeria. Guided by the Foundation's mission to empower current and future leaders to combat ignorance and poverty, the project focuses on removing financial barriers to learning.

Resources from this fund are dedicated solely to educational essentials — school fees, stationery, notebooks, textbooks, and uniforms. This targeted support helps ensure children from these highly vulnerable regions gain immediate access to quality education, enabling fair competition in the 21st century.

Rather than linking each donor to a single child, contributions are made to a centralised fund managed by the Foundation. This pooled approach delivers strategic advantages over traditional donor-child models.

Eliminate Funding Disparities
Conventional matching models lead to delays for some children. A pooled fund completely eradicates this inequality.
Maximise Immediate Impact
The Foundation assesses the most urgent on-ground needs and deploys support promptly without waiting for individual matches.
Ensure True Inclusion
Careful distribution ensures girls and boys receive equal support without any bias from individual donor preferences.
Privacy & Safeguarding
No child's personal details, photos, or location are shared with strangers. The pooled model offers far stronger protection for vulnerable minors.

Objectives

  • Improve Literacy through Direct Educational Support — By providing financial support for immediate educational necessities such as school fees, stationery, notebooks, textbooks, and uniforms, this initiative seeks to eliminate financial obstacles to education and enhance literacy rates.
  • Fight Ignorance and Poverty — Through the promotion of inclusion in education across Plateau and Borno states, the initiative seeks to facilitate the advancement of human capital and economic efficiency.
  • Champion Gender Equality and Inclusion — Ensuring the equitable distribution of educational resources, providing equal opportunities for both girls and boys.
  • Accelerate Learning Recovery — The ongoing conflicts in Borno and Plateau states have resulted in the displacement of over three million Nigerians and the destruction of educational infrastructure. This initiative is designed to restore the educational pursuits of affected children.

Funding & Distribution Structure

Resources in the central pool are exclusively reserved for direct educational support. The Foundation designates these funds specifically for:

School Fees
Payments made directly to schools to enable children to enroll and stay in school without financial barriers.
Essential Learning Materials
Procurement of school uniforms, textbooks, notebooks, and stationery — everything a child needs to learn effectively.

By structuring the funds this way, the Impact Hub Foundation ensures every donation works efficiently and equitably to deliver quality education exactly where and when it is needed most.
