ImpactHub for Youth and Children Foundation is a Nigerian non-governmental organisation dedicated to advancing the wellbeing, learning, protection, and resilience of children and young people in resource-limited and crisis-affected settings. We work at the intersection of education, health, protection, livelihoods, and youth development to address the structural and social barriers that prevent children and adolescents from thriving.
We believe that sustainable development begins with children and young people, and that quality education must be supported by safe environments, good health, gender equality, economic stability, and opportunities for meaningful participation. In many communities, especially those affected by conflict, poverty, and displacement, children face compounded challenges including disrupted schooling, psychosocial distress, harmful gender norms, household economic insecurity, and limited access to basic services. ImpactHub exists to respond holistically to these realities.
Our work spans education, education recovery and lifelong learning, child protection and safeguarding, mental health and psychosocial support, gender equality and adolescent wellbeing, youth empowerment and skills development, and household and community resilience. We collaborate closely with communities, schools, caregivers, local authorities, and partners to design and deliver inclusive, community-led solutions that restore dignity, strengthen capacity, and create pathways out of poverty and exclusion.
Our approach is grounded in accountability, evidence, and partnership. We implement programmes that are cost-effective, scalable, and sustainable, while remaining deeply rooted in local contexts and community ownership. Our work contributes to multiple Sustainable Development Goals, including SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 3 (Good Health and Wellbeing), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
Ultimately, ImpactHub is driven by the conviction that when children and young people are supported holistically and ethically, they are not only able to overcome adversity, but also to become active contributors to peaceful, just, and resilient societies.

Our Mission
Our mission is to design and deliver community-led interventions that protect and advance the wellbeing, learning, and resilience of children and young people in resource-limited and crisis-affected settings, enabling them to thrive and participate meaningfully in society.
Our Vision
We envision a world where access to quality education and relevant skills is a fundamental right, not a privilege, and where every child and young person is supported to learn, grow, and realise their full potential. We aspire to an Africa in which young people are no longer constrained by poverty, gender, disability, conflict, or the circumstances of their birth, but are empowered through education to participate meaningfully in society and shape their own futures..
- To advance access to inclusive, equitable, and quality education for children and young people, particularly those affected by poverty, crisis, displacement, and social exclusion, in order to improve learning outcomes and life opportunities.
- To strengthen learning environments and educational pathways by providing access to learning resources, scholarly opportunities, digital literacy, and innovation skills that support participation, progression, and relevance in education.
- To promote safe, supportive, and gender-responsive education by addressing protection risks, psychosocial barriers, and structural inequalities that hinder girls, children with disabilities, and other marginalised learners from accessing and remaining in education.
- To support household and community conditions that enable sustained participation in education, including caregiver engagement, educator capacity building, and community-based initiatives that reduce poverty-related barriers to learning.
- To undertake all lawful and ethical activities incidental or conducive to the attainment of these educational objectives, including partnerships, research, capacity building, advocacy, and innovation, in furtherance of the organisation’s mission.
