About the Project

Project Comfort Care is our targeted menstrual hygiene support initiative designed to equip schoolgirls with essential sanitary kits and provide them with accurate, empowering knowledge on menstrual hygiene management. By addressing a critical barrier to girls’ education, the project creates a more inclusive and supportive learning environment.

What We Delivered

  • 850 schoolgirls received a one-year free supply of sanitary pad kits across six secondary schools in Jos South LGA, Plateau State.
  • Delivery of comprehensive menstrual hygiene education workshops in all selected schools.
  • Direct engagement with school administrators, community stakeholders, and health educators.

Impact of the Project

  • Reduced absenteeism caused by menstrual-related challenges.
  • Increased knowledge, confidence, and self-esteem among adolescent girls.
  • Improved participation and concentration in school activities.
  • Greater community awareness and support for menstrual health.
  • Strengthened commitment to gender equality and inclusive education.

Why It Matters

Menstrual health is not just a hygiene issue—it is a matter of dignity, education, and opportunity. When girls have the resources and knowledge to manage their menstrual cycles confidently, they stay in school, participate fully, and pursue their dreams without shame or interruption. Project Comfort Care ensures they are not left behind.

Join Us in Expanding the Impact

The success of Project Comfort Care reflects what is possible when communities and partners come together for the well-being of young girls. We welcome partnerships with organizations, donors, and individuals passionate about advancing gender equality, promoting menstrual hygiene, and supporting girls’ education.

Together, we can scale this initiative, reach more schools, and empower thousands more girls with dignity, confidence, and the tools they need to succeed.
