Dr. Sunday Ochai

Sunday Ochonu Ochai is a humanitarian, young leader, and researcher with a passion for elevating Africa to a position of international envy and bringing smiles to the faces of society's most vulnerable people. He is deeply committed to advocating for and creating platforms for disadvantaged children and youth to access quality education and skills, as well as building sustainable livelihoods in resource-limited communities.

He has held numerous leadership roles, characterized by love, sacrifice, respect for others, humility, and a sense of servitude. He takes pleasure in lending his voice to those who cannot speak for themselves and firmly believes in the equal treatment of all human beings. Sunday is a Mandela Rhodes Scholar and an active member of both local and international organizations.

He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (with distinctions), a Master of Veterinary Tropical Diseases (with distinctions), and a Ph.D. He is skilled in project development, implementation, and management, as well as in developing human-centered interventions. Sunny is an Extraordinary Lecturer at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and an Honorary Lecturer at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Currently, he works in international development, supporting a range of projects in various countries across different regions of the world. He also has extensive experience in the humanitarian field, where he has worked to build livelihoods and resilience in crisis regions.
