Maichibi Mugla Salma is an experienced researcher and humanitarian. He has worked in both public and private sectors providing professional and technical expertise in finance allocation and management, research design, implementation, data management and coaching of early career scientist. Maichibi Mugla is also an experienced finance has over 6 years of experience in financial management, strategic planning, and compliance especially in the non-profit sector with the Impacthub for youth and children foundation since its inception.
This drive has led him into numerous humanitarian activities and advocacy for young people, women, and the elderly. He is currently volunteering as a teenagers teacher and mentor with the Teenagers Outreach Ministry (TOM), Plateau State, NigeriAs the Finance Director at Impacthub foundation, he oversees all financial operations ensuring transparency, accountability, and efficiency in resource allocation to support Impacthub’s mission in line with national financial regulations for non- profit organizations. Mugla is very passionate about leveraging financial expertise to drive social impact and his leadership has been instrumental in scaling Impacthub’s programs while maintaining robust financial transparency of the organization. Mugla is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, has a PhD, Msc, and Bsc degrees.
Mugla has been leading financial operations of Impacthub since its inception in budgeting, management of Project Comfort Care, Pages of Change, Play for Impact and Edurise as well as strengthening internal financial controls, policies and external audits. He is leading the development and implementation of the organizations budgets in order to aligned with strategic goals and ensuring efficient allocation of funds across different projects.
Mugla has also manage AMR data of the Animal Health National Reference Laboratory (National Veterinary Research Institute Nigeria) for the Management Sciences for Health FLEMING fund projects. his drive is to see underprivileged children excel, defying limitations or setbacks due to limited resources and backgrounds, this drive has led him into so many humanitarian and non-profit activities, advocacy for young people, women, the elderly and currently volunteering as a mentor with the Teenagers Outreach Ministry (TOM) Plateau State Nigeria. Mugla. He is a fellow of the Nduaka Education Foundation (NEF) Toxicology Internship, a competitive internship program for African young scientists annually. He is also a recipient of the best graduating Post graduate student of the Federal University of Lafia Nasarawa state Nigeria (2018) He holds a bachelor degree of Microbiology, Master of science degree in Medical Microbiology (with Distinction) and a PhD. Mugla is interested in finance allocation, gender balance and inclusivity, food safety and hygiene, Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and One-Health.
