Timzing Lakan

Mr Timzing Lakan oversees the programs of the foundation , making sure that projects carried out align with the foundations mission and vision and supports the foundations values. Mr Timzing is a result driven individual who strongly believes that the well-being and stability of any society is hinged on the growth and development of its children and youth.

A multidisciplinary designer and Architect, Mr Timzing is an advocate for using design as a tool to positively affect people, communities and the environment towards birthing a society that is more socially and environmentally responsible. He has worked on various social impact projects such as the SAO Energy Box where he was a key member of a team of professionals who designed and deployed modularized container clinics in selected rural areas of Nigeria. He was also a design lead in the development of solar power walls for selected primary health care centers in Ogun state, Nigeria. He has also volunteered in various charity events and projects.

He holds a bachelor of Technology degree in Architecture and is also a member of the Interaction Design Foundation. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in Architecture and Urban Planning.
